Order Processing & Handling Times
We ship out orders fast! All orders placed before 2:00pm PST (Mon-Sat) are processed and shipped the SAME DAY. Orders placed after 2:00pm PST (Mon-Sat) are shipped the following business day (excluding holidays).
Upon placing your order, please check your inbox or spam folder for an order confirmation email. Gmail users should also look in your email Promotions Tab and move the email to your normal inbox. If our email was sent to your spam folder, please add the email address ([email protected]) to your contacts so you can receive important order emails. You will also receive a shipping email or SMS text (if you requested SMS) notification when your order has shipped.
Domestic Shipping Rates and Estimates
Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders over $40 that qualify for free shipping will be shipped UPS Ground or via USPS. Customers who upgrade their shipping to expedited will have their orders shipped USPS Priority Mail (or UPS if it is determined they can deliver faster).
Orders are usually shipped out of our California warehouse but may also be shipped out of various warehouses throughout the country. Rest assured, our goal is to get LAVA in your hands as soon as possible so we aim to have your package delivered according to the shorter end of the estimates below:
Southern California: 1 business day
Northern California: 1-2 business days
West, Southwest, Northwest: 1-3 business days
Midwest: 2-4 business days
Southeast, Mid-Atlantic: 2-5 business days
Northeast: 2-5 business days
We work quickly to get your order shipped however once your package is picked up by the carrier, the delivery time is outside of our control. Although not common, sometimes you may experience carrier delays due to high shipping volumes (i.e. Christmas season), carrier issues, poor weather, lost/damaged packages, etc. Rural areas may also experience some carrier delays. Once the package leaves our facility, we cannot make any modifications whatsoever.
Local Delivery or Will Call
Although we are looking into local delivery options, we currently do not offer local delivery at this time and we do not offer will call pickup.

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. Orders are generally shipped USPS Priority Mail but larger orders may be shipped UPS depending on the location. Delivery times vary by country but generally Canada and Mexico are 1-2 weeks (business days) and other countries are 2-4 weeks (business days). Full tracking will be provided. Generally small orders under $40 usd should not incur any fees such as customs, duty, or taxes, however, this may vary by country and if they are applied are your responsibility as the customer. Order Status and Tracking
If you created an account with us when placing your order, you can login to your account at any time to view your tracking number, order status, past orders, subscriptions, and more.
When your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification in your inbox (or spam folder) from us which will include a tracking number you can use to check the shipment status. Please allow 24 hours after your order has shipped for the tracking information to become available or update on the carrier’s website. While it is uncommon, sometimes with USPS, they miss scan a package so the tracking may not get updated for 48+ hours but rest assured we shipped your package.
If you haven’t received your order within 10 business days (or 30 business days for international orders) of receiving your shipping confirmation email, please contact us at [email protected] with your name and order number, and we will be happy to assist further.
Shipping to PO boxes and Military APO/FPO/DPO
We can ship to PO boxes but please also add a secondary non-PO shipping address when placing your order. This will ensure proper delivery since UPS does not deliver to PO boxes. (Example Shipping Address: Jane Customer, PO BOX 1234, 9876 Main Street, City, State, Zip Code).
Please upgrade the shipping at checkout to expedited (Priority Mail) if you need to ship to APO/FPO/DPO addresses.
Lost or Missing Packages
We understand sometimes carriers lose or deliver packages to the wrong address. No worries, we are here to help but first, please be sure to check inside your mailbox (yes, some of our packages fit inside there) and with neighbors and check other areas around your home such as the garage door, back porch, front porch, gate, mailroom, receptionist, etc. Most of the time customers are able to locate their packages in one of these places but if you still cannot locate your package, please contact us with your name and order number via email at [email protected] so we can assist further.
Returns and Refunds Policy
You have 10 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, undamaged, and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging. Your item needs to have the receipt or proof of purchase. In short, if we cannot resell your returned item, it is not returnable. To initiate a return, please contact us with your order number and reason for return. If you purchased your product on another marketplace such as Amazon, please initiate a return on the platform you used for purchase.
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item. If your return is approved, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment) less any shipping, processing, and handling costs accrued by us.
Note, depending on your bank or card issuer, your credit may take several days to appear. This is outside of our control and is determined by your bank or card issuer.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are nonrefundable. We are not liable for lost or damaged return packages. For a return address, please contact us.
