A tropical tiki cocktail made with aged rum, LAVA Tropical Mai Tai Mix, and a dark rum float, garnished with mint and lime.

Ingredients

  • 2 oz aged rum

  • 3 oz LAVA Tropical Mai Tai Mix

  • ½ oz dark rum (float)

  • Garnish: mint sprig + lime wheel + cherry

  • Ice: crushed

Instructions

  1. Fill a shaker with ice.

  2. Add aged rum and LAVA Tropical Mai Tai Mix.

  3. Shake until chilled, then strain into a rocks glass or tiki mug filled with crushed ice.

  4. Slowly pour dark rum over the back of a spoon to float on top.

  5. Garnish with a mint sprig, lime wheel, and cherry.

Notes

  • Use a tiki mug for a festive presentation.

  • Add a splash of pineapple juice for a sweeter, fruitier version.

  • Try spiced rum for a warmer, aromatic twist.
